Sometimes, it’s not enough that one has perfect aim. The perfect weaponry is only as strong as the balance between its offense and defense.
And sometimes, despite one’s strongest defenses, either blunt force or precision instruments get through.
Often, time wears us out.
Still, some things become more beautiful through adversity.
Maybe, we just have to keep on believing in some cosmic flow.

January 26, 2015 marks my third year of staying at the UP Marine Science Institute.
